Walk to School Week 16th-20th May 2022
As part of Keep Suffolk Moving we will be taking part in Walk to School week. Every child will receive an activity booklet. We know that its not always possible for everyone to walk to school, if you can't then maybe try parking a bit further away and walk from there. There are many benefits to keeping children active, both for their physical and mental health.
Some of the benefits for keeping children active:
  • children are usually more focused after exercise
  • it can improve sleep and appetite
  • exercise and regular movement builds resilience
  • exercise helps healthy weight management
  • exercise can help reduce the feelings of anxiety
  • it contributes toward physical, emotional and mental wellbeing
