Mars Class Reception Year

Welcome to Mars Class, Mrs Anita Santinelli-Clarke is our class teacher.

In Mars Class we follow a creative and immersive curriculum. We have areas in our classroom which continuously support our play-led learning such as writing, fine motor, maths, role-play, small-world, construction, creative and a reading corner.
We have lots of fun learning in our indoor/outdoor classroom.

Our Topic this Spring Term is Castles & dragons. We will be learning about parts of a castle, looking at similarities & differences between different castles. Finding out about Knights, learning about the Royal family and famous Kings & Queens and exploring the difference between myths and reality, exploring mythological creatures.
On Fridays we will explore our topic through Fresh Air Friday where we explore our wider community.

Please ensure that your child has a suitable coat and suitable footwear everyday, Fresh Air Friday takes place every 'Friday' in all weathers, a coat is essential as well as those winter accessories such as hats, gloves and/or scarfs. Please NAME all items of clothing, every red jumper is red...
