Pond Dipping
This week, as part of their Forest Schools session, Mrs Lewis and Mrs Stone took groups of children to work in the school's own natural pond area, and to everyone's delight they found a newt, which has affectionately been named 'Sir Isaac Newt-on' (did you see what they did there?!! ;-)) The children had a fabulous time studying plants, wildlife and mini-beasts, as well as enjoying our beautiful school grounds and learning practical new skills.
I think this is a 'Wish I was there' moment... sounds absolutely delightful!
