Ofsted

Ofsted is the Office for Standards in Education, Children’s Services and Skills. They inspect services providing education and skills for learners of all ages. Ofsted also inspect and regulate services that care for children and young people.
 
 
We are pleased to announce that in January 2023 the school was once again rated as 'Good' as a result of the Ofsted Inspection which took place in December 2022.
"Leaders have established a caring ethos that ensures pupils look out for each other. They show respect towards visitors, other adults and those who are different from themselves...Pupils are proud to show visitors their school...Leaders have developed the curriculum well. They ensure that teachers understand the precise knowledge they want pupils to learn."

In June 2017 the school was rated "good" by Ofsted. "Under the calm and assured leadership of the headteacher, pupils at Cavendish Church of England Primary School develop into confident, reflective learners.....you and your team ensure that pupils receive high-quality learning activities.....".
