Cavendish Church of England Primary School is committed to making its website accessible in accordance with the Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) (No. 2) Accessibility Regulations 2018.
Primary and secondary schools are partially exempt from the accessibility regulations, except in relation to content that people need in order to use the school's services. We nevertheless aim to make the wider content on our website as accessible as reasonably possible.

The website is built and hosted using the eSchools platform.
We are currently reviewing the website's accessibility against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standard and working with our website provider to ensure that the technical platform and the content maintained by the school support accessibility.

Non-accessible content
Documents and PDFs
Some PDF and Word documents published on the website may not be fully accessible to users of assistive technology.
We will aim to ensure that new documents containing important information are produced in an accessible format wherever possible.

Content outside the scope of the accessibility regulations
The accessibility regulations do not require us to make PDFs or other documents published before 23 September 2018 accessible if they are not essential to providing our services.
Live video is also exempt from the accessibility regulations.
