Breakfast Club
Our Breakfast Club provides children with a calm, welcoming and positive start to the school day.
It is open Monday to Friday from 7:45am, with bookings made through Arbor.
Rather than simply being a waiting space before school, we want Breakfast Club to feel purposeful, relaxed and enjoyable. Children can have breakfast, spend time with friends and choose from a range of activities before the school day begins.
A calm and active start to the day
Each morning, a selection of activity tables is prepared for children to choose from. These may include:
- construction and LEGO;
- drawing, colouring and simple creative activities;
- board games, card games and puzzles;
- reading and quiet activities; and
- small challenges and activities that children can enjoy independently or with friends.
Children are free to choose how they spend their time, allowing them to settle into the day in a way that works for them.
Outdoor option from 8:25am
From 8:25am, children are also offered the opportunity to spend time outside before school begins.
This might include active games, playground activities or simply enjoying some fresh air with friends. Children who prefer a quieter start can continue to enjoy the indoor activities available.
This gives children a choice between a more active or relaxed start to the morning and helps them arrive in class feeling settled, happy and ready to learn.
