Act of Remembrance

11th November 2020
At 11 am, led by the Faith Council and Reverend Paul Graham, the whole school attended a, socially distanced, service in remembrance of those who served in the great Wars and Wars since. To pay our respects and gratitude to the servicemen and women who protected and still protect our country.
Mars Class started our service with a poem-I wear a little poppy followed by words from Reverend Paul Graham, Michael from Neptune class recited The Exhortation. We were very lucky to have a bugler play The Last Post, accompanied by a standard bearer from The Royal British Legion, and we then observed the two minutes silence. At the end of our Act of Remembrance the Faith Council laid a wreath at the Memorial in the village.
